Tickhill Methodist Church is renowned for its warmth, friendliness, sincerity of worship and Christian outreach. You are assured of a warm welcome at our services or at any of our church activities. Our Church is available to all who need help. You do not need to be a member or even a regular attendee at our fellowship. If we can be of help to you in any way, please ask.
There is a coffee morning in the Church Lounge from 10.00 am to 12 noon, held on the first Wednesday of each month, to raise funds for the Charities which are supported by the church. All are welcome.
There are stalls for “Bring and Buy”, cakes, marmalade and jam, Greeting Cards and a raffle, which all help to support the funds. In addition to coffee/tea and scones, a choice of toasted sandwiches and teacakes are proving to be a popular attraction
This is held on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 2.30 p.m. in the Church Lounge. The meeting takes the form of brief devotions, an invited speaker on a variety of subjects, followed by a cup of tea and lots of friendly conversation. A warm welcome is extended to all ladies of any denomination, or none.

This Bible Study group meets regularly on Wednesday evenings at 7.30 pm.
We seek to deepen our Biblical knowledge and in doing so, arrive at a more meaningful understanding of our faith.
There are no experts. We learn from one another. We offer a safe, loving and often humorous learning environment and extend a warm welcome to all.

Caring and Christianity should be inseparable and Pastoral Care forms a large part of our Christian tradition. Within the Church we have a team of Pastoral visitors who endeavour to give support to the members and adherents within the Church family.

Table tennis in the School Room takes place on a Monday afternoon 3 pm to 5 pm. There are 4 tables for on average some 25 players. We welcome players of all standards from outright beginners to league standard. We have biscuits and drinks half way through the two-hour session and some people, who cannot play, come just for a chat. At the present time we have 38 members and can only fit 4 tables in the hall so are unable to accommodate any new faces. However, if you are interested, Methodist or none, please give Riley South a ring on 01302 743543.
